Experimental Philosophy Project

Ethan Landes (Zürich) and Kathryn Francis (Keele) are running an experimental study that examines how professional philosophers react to virtual reality versions of familiar philosophical thought experiments. All interested MANCEPT Workshops participants are invited to participate in our study by taking part in a VR version of a familiar thought experiment and then answering a few questions about the experience. We expect the study to take about 15 minutes and will involve the use of a VR headset, headphones, and answering both written and multiple-choice questions on either a laptop or a phone. 

The project will run during sessions 1, 2 & 3 (Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th).
