On the 3rd October the Mental Health Social Care Incubator held its first public webinar. We were delighted to be joined by those interested in mental health social care for what was an exciting, engaging overview of the current mental health social care evidence base.

We had two fantastic speakers, Bryn Lloyd-Evans, Professor of Mental Health and Social Inclusion, University College London and Robbie Fraser, Mental Health Social Worker.

Bryn presented on Social interventions in mental health: state of the evidence and future directions for research; and Robbie presented on Gaps in mental health social care research: a literature review and evidence map.

There were some brilliant questions from attendees and the discussion gave everyone food for thought. We were also delighted to see connections forming between those with shared interests.
