PRiME: Teaching Fellows
We are very grateful to all the Teaching and Education Fellows based in our partner NHS organisations and within the University. You are really valued near-peer educators for our students. Your hard work and enthusiasm is recognised, and we are keen to support you in your personal development in education, as well as in your vital role in supervising, teaching and assessing Manchester Medical students.
Please also get in touch f you would like to be a teaching fellow representative for your campus: mbchb.prime@manchester.ac.uk for the attention of Dr Susan Harris.
Please book on your choice of workshops as below. On registration you will get a calendar invite or email with a unique joining link directly from Teams:
Teaching Fellows: Top Tips For Success
- Upcoming dates will be posted here when available.
Swimming not Drowning: Tips for Managing Academic Workload
During the session, we will look at similarities and differences in workload pressures from clinical and your current teaching roles, and how we can learn from each environment. We will also look at hints and tips on organising our time to prevent last minute panic around busy teaching timetables and academic deadlines.
This event is open to Teaching Fellows based within the University Stopford teaching campus, and Teaching Fellows based in the Clinical Education Campuses. This will provide an opportunity for you to meet (virtually) and share experiences and ideas.
- Upcoming dates will be posted here when available.
Please when possible we recommend that you attend PRiME workshop on a computer/laptop (rather than a phone/tablet) if possible. Please also ensure you are logged into Teams using the email you have registered with ahead of the start of the meeting and please join a few minutes ahead of the start time as if you are more than 10 minutes late you will need to register for another future session.
