Teaching Themed Case Discussion (TCD)

This 2-hour session for colleagues based in our partner hospitals will be delivered through Zoom, and will enable you to confidently teach Themed Case Discussion sessions, in Year 3 and Year 4 of the MB ChB.

This workshop is intended for hospital-based tutors only and you will have a certificate of attendance following completion. GPs should please contact us as directly there is a different training and development workshop for you.

These TCD sessions are led by a Consultant or someone with equivalent grade/expertise. Advanced Nurse Practitioners who work within the TCD area, Specialty Trainees and Education Fellows are welcome to help facilitation (and Foundation Doctors for Year 3 TCD), as agreed locally and with their respective Clinical and Educational Supervisors.

Please attend this workshop on a computer/laptop (rather than a phone/tablet). Please also ensure you are logged into Teams using the email you have registered with ahead of the start of the meeting and please join a few minutes ahead of the start time as if you are more than 10 minutes late you will need to register for another future session.
