Interactions between health, subjective well-being and self-determination

There is a relationship between health and self-determination that is significant (greater than might be accounted for by chance or the specific nature of the sample).

This association is not predictive, but it does demonstrate that change in either of these two variables (health and self-determination) will have an impact on the other. Lower scores on both measures are associated with each other. There is also a positive relationship between health and subjective well-being in the READY cohort.

If someone scores highly on one measure, then they tend to score highly on the other and low scores on one are indicative of low scores on the other. This indicates that changes in either health or subjective well-being are likely to be beneficial for both characteristics.
