Lorry drivers demonstrate a high-risk of developing heart disease and diabetes and have a sedentary job and little opportunity for physical activity. This study of UK lorry drivers suggests that interventions to reduce sitting and increase moderate-to-vigorous physical activity during breaks or in leisure time are urgently needed.
