MICRA event showcases ageing workforce research

Drs Sheena Johnson and Ricardo Twumasi were co-presenters at this year’s MICRA (Manchester Institute for Collaborative Research on Ageing) seminar, attended by researchers from across the country. Topics discussed included policy influence and how the School’s research can influence legislation in the future for extended working lives, the health and wellbeing of older workers and reduce age discrimination in the workplace.
