Rachel Lennon and Tomohiko Yamamura travelled to the USA to attended Kidney Week 2023 in Philadelphia.

Rachel and Tomohiko attended many exciting sessions on emerging therapies for glomerular diseases including Alport syndrome.

In an educational session ‘Collagen IV Conundrums’ there was an update on genetic studies, genetic variant interpretation and the treatment landscape in Alport syndrome. All very relevant for the Hub!

Tomohiko presented our proteomic study of ramipril treatment in Alport mice (see poster here). We had some excellent discussion and feedback – and opportunities for new collaborations!
