We are one of the largest groups of researchers in the UK with expertise in terrestrial and marine surface processes, sedimentology, seismic and sequence stratigraphy and basin tectonics.

Many Group members have industrial experience in the petroleum geoscience sector and are actively collaborating with industry on various research projects.

Industrial research projects focus on regional basin analysis, analysis of structural style, process sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy, 3D seismic interpretation, and reservoir modelling.
