Key MACC Researcher Dr Tim Felton outlines his role in securing and leading a new £4 million award to lead the fight against antimicrobial resistance. The University of Manchester Biomedical Research Centre’s Respiratory division is one of only 10 centres in the UK to be asked to work on this important national program, as part of the governments 20 year strategy and 5 year action plan. In this short video, Tim explains the role of the BRC and of his innovative research program in tailoring antibiotic therapy to individual patients, and re-thinking how we use antibiotics to manage infections in the future.
