Programme 2022: Overview

Welcome to this year’s MANCEPT Workshops! We are very excited to be hosting many of you in person after two years of online-only workshops. Below you can find the general schedule. The workshops operate by using 5 sessions. Not all panels run during all 5 sessions, so attendees are welcome to drop into other panels during their free time. This year’s workshops will take place in a hybrid manner. Some participants will be joining us remotely, and three of our panels will be online-only. We will be using Zoom, the links for which will be shared by panel convenors.

To help reduce waste and our impact on the planet, this year’s schedule is entirely online. However, there will be many MANCEPT helpers dotted around who will be happy to help you if you come across any issues. The MANCEPT helpers will be wearing purple so they will not be difficult to spot. Additionally, we will not have plastic water bottles available. Instead, attendees are encouraged to bring their own bottle which you can fill up at the water-filling locations found outside rooms, near the lifts. Finally, we will only be serving vegetarian and vegan food during lunch and refreshment breaks (meat options are nonetheless available for the conference dinner).

Except on the first day, lunches and refreshments will be served at three locations: in the Arthur Lewis Building Common Room (left behind the stairs/past the lifts) and in University Place Room 5.205 and 6.207. On the first day, lunch will only be available in the Arthur Lewis Building Common Room. If you have specific dietary requirements, we request that you please collect your lunch from the Arthur Lewis Building throughout the conference.
