This year, to mark World Alzheimer’s Day (21st September 2023), we hosted a visit from Simon McDermott (Regional Fundraising Officer for Alzheimer’s Research UK) and staff/supporters from Simple Life Homes.

Our guests enjoyed presentations from the Brain Bank team and a tour of our facilities. Lots of interesting questions were asked and we hope everyone left our laboratories with a renewed, positive outlook on the future of dementia research – noting that such research would not be possible without the vital input of Brain Banking in the UK.
