We’re delighted to announce a new post-mortem research tissue programme between the ME association and the Manchester Brain Bank.

The ME Association Ramsay Research Fund will be funding detailed examinations of the brain, spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion in at least 5 people with a firm diagnosis ME/CFS who are aged between 18 and 50 at the time of death.

Our role, as Manchester Brain Bank, will be to store post-mortem tissue from the brain and spinal cord of people with ME/CFS. The tissue will then be made available to researchers who want to use it.

For more information, see the announcement.
