We were pleased to be able to host our 2nd annual Hub Symposium on Wednesday 2nd July in Manchester.

Our comprehensive programme featured 16 talks, alongside networking and discussion opportunities.

The morning session led by Rachel Lennon, (University of Manchester) focused on the Physical Hub Research born out of the Lennon Lab in Manchester. In the afternoon Danny Gale (University College London) led a session on Virtual Hub Research, including a recent data analysis from our UK rare disease registry – RaDaR database | UK Kidney Association. The final session, chaired by Kenton Arkill (University of Nottingham) highlighted Hub collaborations with presentations from recipients of the Hub Grant rounds, ending with a talk from Susie Gear (Alport UK) on the importance of international collaboration.
