On Thursday 17th I attended the MMU graduate fashion show – the talent was extraordinary. For a BA showcase the innovation, skill, and maturity of designs exceeded all my expectations (and I know this is one of the most renowned courses for Fashion in the UK). It was an exciting night. Especially noteworthy were a number of designs that nodded towards modest fashion – in fact almost all the looks covered the body from wrist to ankle for women and men. I’ll be keeping a look out for these finalists as future stars of the British fashion scene.
