Are you an early-career researcher with an interest in health data?

Apply for Health Research from Home’s hackathon taking place 13-15 May, 2026 led by our experienced instructors.

Health Research from Home is a partnership led by The University of Manchester pioneering the successful linkage of smartphone and wearable data in health research.

During our hackathon, you will work in small groups to explore how gaps in wearable and smartphone data affect what we can learn.

This event will:

  • Build a collaborative community of early career researchers with interests in biostatistics, data science, and artificial intelligence.
  • Connect this community with a wider range of HRfH stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and other HRfH researchers.
  • Address complex and high-impact challenges in HRfH time-series data.
  • Generate reusable and shareable code through hands-on collaboration

This is a unique opportunity to network and collaborate with experts, apply your skills to real-world challenges, and contribute to the future of health research.
