Lydia Becker Institute and the Manchester Immuno-Oncology network
Professor Dan Davis, Drs John Grainger, Matt Hepworth and Adam Hurlstone from the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation presented at the Immuno-oncology Network meeting on the 21st of May.
The Manchester Cancer Research Centre hosts the Immuno-oncology Network to bring together scientists in the MCRC and the university with clinicians who are working in immuno-oncology to promote collaborations at the clinical / basic science interface.
The workshop, held at the Christie Hospital, highlighted inflammation research at the Becker Institute that might be relevant to the immune-oncologists. There was also an opportunity for PhD students to present their latest findings and a break out session to discuss how we can collaborate better going forward.
Everyone involved thought the day was a success and are looking forward to future meetings and collaborations.
