Short Warwick and Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale BSL (SWEMWBS BSL)

The SWEMWBS is a 7-item short version of the WEMWBS.

It measures mental and emotional wellbeing (how “good” somebody feels) and psychological functioning (how well somebody thinks they are functioning). This validated BSL version is accepted by the originators.

To use the SWEMWBS you must first register for a non-commercial licence here. The licence is made available free of charge to organisations whose main purpose is not directed towards commercial advantage or monetary compensation. On the registration form you can pick the BSL version from a list of available languages. The website concerns the full version (the WEMWBS), but if you pick the BSL version you will be directed to the SWEMWBS- BSL.
