Pragmatic development and deaf children/young people

This project ran from 2005-2007. In 2019 an international consortium of scholars, practitioners and user representative organisations came together for a symposium on pragmatic development and deaf children at the Radcliffe Institute, USA.

Out of this workshop emerged a series of research papers and an international call to action on pragmatic development and deaf children that comprise a special edition of the journal Pediatrics. All papers in this series are free to access/download. The two below are those where members of SORD were authors.
