Preferences for Residential Care Provision in Wales

Commissioned by the Welsh Government in 2009, this research study project is about older Deaf people living in Wales.

The study concerns specifically whether and why there might be a case for the provision of a specialist residential care facility as an available option for this population. As there is currently no other care option than for this population to be accommodated within mainstream services, are their particular needs being considered e.g. communication support available in domiciliary care and intermediate/continuing care?
