If I have a flare-up for more than a couple of days, will it flag up to my consultant and will I be asked to come in for an appointment?

The data collected in the REMORA app will not be viewed or monitored by the study team or any medical team between your clinical consultations. Your collected data is shared with your rheumatology care team who will only review it at the time of your consultation.

Any change or deterioration in your condition will not be flagged up to your hospital consultant, GP or any other specialist provider or acted upon between clinical consultations. If you become unwell during the trial, it is important that you immediately seek help in the normal way.

Will my consultant know that I am taking part in this trial and have the data I enter on screen when I attend clinic?

Yes, your hospital consultant will know that you are taking part in the REMORA2 trial. If you collect symptom data using the REMORA app, this information will be available to your rheumatology care team every time you attend the clinic.

If you are invited to attend clinic by your health care professional for any extra appointments, the consultant will still be able to see the data you have collected up to that date. The consultant will only review the data at the time of your clinic appointment.
