Are all RA patients being asked to take part in this trial?

No. We are only approaching RA patients to take part if they are under the care of a health care professional who is also participating in the REMORA2 trial.

Patients from up to 16 RA outpatient clinics in hospitals based in the Greater Manchester and north-west London region are being asked to participate in the trial.

Can I participate if my health care professional is not involved in the REMORA2 trial?

No, unfortunately you cannot participate in the REMORA2 trial if you are not receiving care from a health care professional who is also participating.

Your health care professional must also be involved with the REMORA2 trial, as they will need to be given access to the REMORA2 data that you record.

Is there anything else I need to do to be in the trial?

No. Your local hospital will send you an information sheet in the post or give you this information when you attend the hospital for an appointment.

If you agree to take part and are in the symptom-tracking group, the study team at The University of Manchester will send you all the details you need to download and start using the app.
