Fifth Workshop
Positive student engagement during the new normal
5th CIP Biennial Online Workshop
Monday, 26th April 2021
In the 5th Centre for Innovation in Pedagogy (CIP) biennial workshop, we will be releasing the results from our research project, on the subject of student engagement in the run-up to and duration of the most recent COVID-19 crisis.
We will be looking at lessons drawn from the move to online teaching at the University of Manchester with an emphasis on student engagement.
Our student teams will be presenting the findings from their year-long project on student engagement, and providing a range of student perspectives on the move to blended learning during 2020-21. We will also hear updates from academics and eLearning technologists on early-stage pedagogical projects themed around student engagement.
The eLearning community and teaching focused lecturers are particularly encouraged to consider attending. This is a great opportunity to network with other academics and learning technologists interested in developing their pedagogical research profiles.
