What: Meet the Language Professionals careers event

When: Monday 14^th October 5-6.30pm

Where: Whitworth Hall

Set to be our biggest annual languages careers event yet, we have around 20 language graduates and recruiters (specifically seeking students with foreign language skills) coming along. We also have a wide range of sectors represented, including teaching, media, translation, sustainable retail, consultancy, IT, publishing and international affairs. Come along and chat to the alumni and recruiters informally over canapés, wine and soft drinks.

Open to all year groups, this event is perfect for:

• Exploring your options and finding out about what you could do with your language degree. If you have no idea what you want to do, come along to get inspired by our alumni and recruiters. They were in your shoes not so long ago and know how you’re feeling!
• Finding out about jobs and work experience opportunities. All the recruiters at the event are actively seeking students with foreign language skills.
• Making contacts: at former events students have secured work experience and graduate roles through making the right contact to help them.
