Culture and Inclusive Education Champions Network

The Culture and Inclusive Education Champions Network is a dedicated community for all university stakeholders—educators, staff, and administrators—committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect within higher education. Our mission is to promote cultural awareness and inclusive practices across campuses, ensuring that every individual—regardless of background, identity, or ability—experiences a learning environment where they feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
We believe that an inclusive culture in education goes beyond equitable practices; it involves creating a campus culture that celebrates diversity and recognizes the strengths each individual brings to the community. Our network brings together a diverse group of champions who are passionate about fostering cultural responsiveness and inclusivity in all aspects of university life.
Throughout the year, we champion initiatives that bring our mission to life. For example, on International Women’s Day, we celebrated the stories and achievements of outstanding students, emphasizing the importance of gender equity and representation on campus. Our active bystander campaign also empowered faculty and staff with the skills and knowledge to address discrimination, harassment, and bias, fostering a safer, more inclusive university community.
By joining the Culture and Inclusive Education Champions Network, you’ll become part of a community working to embed these values in higher education. Together, we’re creating campuses where every student feels seen, heard, and supported, and where cultural awareness and inclusivity are at the heart of academic life.
