Visualising SARS-CoV-2 transmission routes and mitigations
This paper, published in the British Medical Journal and produced by researchers funded under Theme 2 of the PROTECT study, provides an interactive graphic of COVID-19 virus transmission routes, with supporting commentary and analysis.
The tool enables users to visualise the impact of different environments, scenarios and controls on transmission of the COVID-19 virus. It is intended to support policymakers, businesses and the general public to make informed decisions about how to sustainably reduce virus transmission in different contexts, using achievable interventions such as face coverings, improved ventilation and targeted cleaning.
