The Healthy Ageing Research Group partnered with Greater Manchester Moving, Greater Sport, Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (now Greater Manchester NHS ICP) and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Ageing Hub to unite on our work for falls prevention, delivering integration and reconditioning for ageing well.

This work has formed the bedrock for the development of a GM-wide Falls Prevention Collaborative, which includes all 10 local authorities with the vision to adopt a whole system approach to falls prevention. The GM Falls Collaborative host regular events, workshops and seminars sharing good practice approaches and the latest research and evidence.
