Welcome to this website about the Interpreting for Mental Health Act Assessments (INforMHAA) project, conducted by a multilingual team of deaf and hearing researchers to examine best practices for Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) and interpreters working together in Mental Health Act Assessments.

This interdisciplinary project is jointly delivered by three universities: the University of Manchester, Heriot-Watt University and The Open University.

Content on this website is presented using British Sign Language and English, as well as other project languages (such as Spanish & French) for some information.
