The Integrated Academic Training (IAT) programme has different priority research themes. Since 2018, the IAT Competition has targeted multidisciplinary research areas identified as being of strategic significance by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and the NIHR.

This theme event offers an opportunity to badge research to themes across North West universities, gain a better understanding of themes within the universities, learn how to link research with theme-based opportunities, and network.

Date: Wednesday 11 November 2026
