Celebrating Excellence in Public Engagement: Professor Sheena Cruickshank Wins BSI Immunology Award
We’re thrilled that our Eco-immunology Deputy Branch Lead Professor Sheena Cruickshank has won the Public Engagement Award at the inaugural British Society for Immunology (BSI) Immunology Awards ceremony held on April 20th at the Royal College of Physicians in London. The award recognises Professor Cruickshank’s exceptional outreach work in educating and engaging the public on the topic of immunology.
The BSI described Professor Cruickshank as:
“someone who has undertaken exceptional outreach work to inform, enthuse and engage the public and who inspires other immunologists to connect with diverse audiences.”
This accolade is a testament to her unwavering commitment to sharing her expertise and inspiring others to do the same.
