2017-8 Final Event

The final event for the class in the academic year 2017-8 happened on 8th December, 2017. It was a great success! Students first met with their assigned visitors and summarised their blog entries, and then they had an open discussion about humanitarianism, development, the ethics of volunteering, and so on. Students got to speak in depth with two visitors. This was followed by a panel discussion in which the visitors gave pointers about what anthropology students could offer to their types of organisations, and how students can get into this line of work.
