Michelle Shaw has joined the PROTECT national core study team as the new Portfolio Information Lead, replacing Ed Morrow.

Michelle is a qualified Change Management Practitioner with a varied background in local government. She started out in Policy and stakeholder engagement, curating and managing community consultation packages which informed the Council Plan and policies.

Michelle spent a year marketing commercial sales and lettings on behalf of the same LGA before moving to a regional authority, where she was a programme officer for a council-wide digital transformation project, rolling out service improvement for over 800,000 stakeholders.

On her new role, Michelle said “I am joining the PROTECT study to lead on the communications delivery in its final year, and look forward to helping ensure the legacy of the project and sharing the key messages which are emerging from this vital work.”
