SORD has developed a supplementary document focusing Social Care (including social work), providing summaries of key research areas. These encompass evidence concerning deaf child safeguarding and protection, engagement with Deaf service users in understanding the adequacy of and improvement in social work and social care services for Deaf people, interpreter-mediated social work/care (and health) and Deaf older people’s social care needs.
