SORD has developed a supplementary document focusing Deaf health, providing summaries of key research areas. These encompass evidence concerning Deaf health outcomes, types and barriers to health services and improvements in aspects of health services to Deaf people. This document demonstrates our research work and publications outputs including specific practice guidance where we have created these in partnership with deaf organisations and professionals in the field. This supplementary material has been tailored to emphasise a Deaf health oriented perspective.
