Frank de VochtProfessor Frank de Vocht from the University of Bristol kicked off our seminar series on 8 December 2020.

Frank’s seminar, titled Epidemiological Aspects of Radiofrequency Radiation in the Environment – including a discussion of 5G, was attended by THOR reporters and COEH students and colleagues.

The seminar started by exploring non-ionising radiation and human exposure. Frank then went on to discuss the potential impacts of mobile phone radiation on human health.

Professor de Vocht finished with a short discussion on the potential impacts of 5G. However, as this is such a new area of technology, data is very limited.

Overall, the seminar was very well-received and ended with a Q&A with attendees asking questions.

This seminar series is exclusively available to THOR reporters and COEH students & staff. If you are a THOR reporter and missed the original lecture, please contact us to request the recording.
