The University of Manchester Gateways Programme
About the Programme
The University of Manchester Gateways Programme allows learners in Years 7 to 11 to participate in a series of academic enrichment and higher education (HE) awareness activities.
It is targeted at talented local pupils who have the ability to progress into HE, and are from backgrounds that are currently under-represented in higher education.
This website is for Gateways link-teachers, pupils on the Gateways Programme, and their parents and carers.
Gateways is currently supporting 48 schools from Greater Manchester and is full. If you are a teacher and would like your school to be added to the programme’s waiting list, please email us at: gateways @manchester.ac.uk
