Between the 8th and the 11th of May, 2022, the conference ‘Digital Campaigning in Dissonant Public Spheres’ will take place in Cadenabbia, Italy. This is an international conference to discuss the current state of research about political communication and, more specifically, digital campaigning (and digital campaign manipulation) across countries.

DiCED’s own Rachel Gibson will be among the speakers, to reflect on the effects of digital micro-targeting. In particular, she will discuss whether digital micro-targeting constitutes a danger to democracy.
