ECONTeach 1: Small Group Teaching

In this roundtable discussion for the ECONTeach event, five tutors who are experienced in teaching small groups will talk about their pedagogy and tutoring experiences, including those recently held on-campus, hybrid, and online. Topics include the benefits of being a tutor, the challenges of the role, how to effectively work with a Lecturer, and how to work alongside other tutors. The speakers are Dr. Matheus Vianna, Dr. Nahid Farnaz, Thanh Bui, Valeriya Potapova, and Dr. Manuel Mosquera. The discussion is chaired by Dr. Alex Squires.

ECONTeach 2: Employability and Study Skills

In this roundtable discussion for the ECONTeach2 event, Prof. Ralf Becker, Dr. Alessia Isopi, Dr. Robert O’Neill, Dr. Olayinka Oyekola, and Dr. Selma Godinjak discuss Studying and Employability Skills in Economics: the Transition Support for Undergraduate Students. The discussion is chaired by Dr. Alex Squires.
